Beaches in Turkey

Shopping in Turkey
Turkey is full of fascinating little shops filled with souvenirs that can keep you browsing for hours. Specific Turkish delights to be found are carpets and rugs of varying styles and, and gold which is available much cheaper than at home here in the UK.
As well as the variety of shops you will find an array of bazaars and markets offering wonderful spices as well as clothes, shoes and quality leather bags, belts and jackets at very low prices. You are expected to barter in Turkey meaning you can get that bargain if you’re prepared for it!
Eating Out in Turkey
Due to the rich diverse cultural history and international influences in Turkey there is a huge variety of cuisine on offer. An endless selection of bars and restaurants offer something for everyone, from pizzas and burgers to Indian food or traditional Turkish cuisine. Turkish cuisine is exceptionally varied, making extensive use of the fabulously fresh fruit and vegetables that are grown all over Turkey. It’s an easy place to be a vegetarian, but excellent lamb, fish and cheese are available everywhere.
Nightlife in Turkey
Nightlife in Turkey can be as relaxed or lively as you please. From a gentle stroll along a marina promenade and a romantic meal in a beachfront restaurant to lively streets of bars and clubs where you can party the night away!
Marmaris, Bodrum and Antalya are amongst the busiest of the resorts and really come alive at night but if you like to chill try one of the smaller resorts such as Bitez or pretty Icmeler.
If partying is your thing then a definite must is the beautiful, open-air Halikarnas nightclub in Bodrum with its laser shows and spectacular views over the bay.
